Lois Elwanda Hicks Bryant, age 81 of Lenoir, passed away, on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Amorem Hospice. Born Tuesday, May 6, 1941 to the late Florence Hall Hicks and Samuel Hicks in Caldwell County, NC.
In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by her sisters Gladys Hamby, Clennis Hamby, Eulalya Hamby, and Arlene Hicks, brothers Sanford Hicks, Doyle Hicks, and McDonald Hicks.
Miss. Bryant is survived by her daughters Rachel Ellis (Husband Frank), and Wanda Watson (Husband Jeff), and son Roy Bryant Jr. (Wife Luzviminda). Lois leaves behind four grandchildren Chasity, Jesieryl, Alfonso, and Travis, four great grandchildren, Kelly, Sarah, Mya, and Charlotte. Sisters Mavis Haigler (Husband Walter) and Barbara Graybeal along with a number of nieces and nephews. Special mention is left in the love for Linda Bentley for all the care and love she has shared with Lois.
Lois will be remembered for being a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of Grandin Baptist Church where she spent time serving the Lord. She enjoyed flowers and crafts while being an avid collector of good deals and sales. Miss Bryant has a special way of remembering anniversary’s and birthdays to make them great for everyone. She had a love for the Christmas season and would wish you a Merry Christmas.
The Bryant family will receive friends Friday, December 9, 2022 from 11:00 am - 11:45 am at Pendry's Funeral Home.
The Funeral Service for Lois will be held at Pendry's Funeral Home on Friday, December 9, 2022 at 12:00 pm with the Pastor Gary Lovins officiating.
Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 1545 Orchard Dr, Lenoir, NC.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Amorem Hospice 902 Kirkwood St NW, Lenoir, NC.
