Loyd Finley Walker Jr.

Mr. Walker was born in Caldwell County to the late Loyd Finley Walker and Pauline Shoemake Walker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Billy Ray Walker and a son Barry Walker.

He was retired from Broyhill Furniture and a member of Patterson House of Prayer.

He is survived by a son, Gary Walker and his wife Teresa of Granite Falls.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 6, 2012 in Pendry’s Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Allen Norrod. Burial will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday one hour prior to the service at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Harold Warren, Claude Warren, Steve Baker, Reggie Walker, Brandon Walker and Darrell Stokes.

The family requests that memorials be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, NC 28645.
