

She married Kenneth Williams in the 80’s in Lenoir. She worked as a Healthcare Technician for Broughton Hospital.
She became a member of New Birth Christian Church, and under the teachings of Pastor Edward Greene she grew stronger in her walk with God and her spiritual knowledge. Because of her dedication she was honored to be named “Mother of the Church’ on Mother’ Day 2021 and in doing so she became a mother to the men, women, and children of the church.
Lucinda was preceded in death by her father Lester Lee Moore, her mother Dorothy Mae Scott, her husband Kenneth Reynard Williams, her sister Sarah Scott aka “Sweatpea” and her brothers Stevie Moore and Charles Moore aka” Cool Baby”.
Lucinda is survived by her children: Shakosher Moore of High Point, NC, Malik Moore, Jakisha and Chris Shepherd, and Lester and La’Keeta Moore all from Winston, Salem, NC. She also leaves behind her adopted son Timothy Felder of Lenoir, NC. Her brothers and sister, Paul Dula of Lenoir, NC, Macy Moore, and Lester E. Moore both of Winston-Salem, NC. 13 Grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and her aunt Hazel Scott of Hickory, NC. She also leaves behind extended family members from Raleigh, NC, Greensboro, NC and Winston-Salem, NC. Too many to name or count in numbers because she was loved by so many.
Visitation will be at 1pm on Saturday, October 23 at First Church of God
Funeral services will be held 2pm, Saturday, October 23 with the Rev. R. Jerome Pearson of First Church of God, officiating. Burial will follow at Hapertown Cemetery.
The Williams family has entrusted arrangements to Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home.
