Mark Timothy Scott

He is survived by his children Christy Reid (husband Bill) of Granite Falls, Mark T. Scott II (partner Lauren) of Iron Station, and Lane Scott (wife Paige) of Iron Station, his grandchildren Erica Courtemanche (partner Christian), Piper Scott, Waylon Scott, Alexandra Scott, Solon Scott, and Harlyn Scott, his great-grandchild Baylor Thompson, his brother Rusty Scott (wife Sherry), and many beloved friends and extended family.

According to his children, Mark could fix anything, but a golf club. He was a loving Daddy and Paw Paw. Mark loved his children, his grandchildren, and the Lord. In his last few years of life, Mark became more devoted to the Lord.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, February 8, 2026 at 6:00 PM at Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Lee McNeill.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to their beloved friend and caretaker Joy Sherrill and all of the Amorem Hospice Staff.
