Mary Harmon Laws

Born April, 15, 1941 in Caldwell Co., NC, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Hattie Harmon. Mary was retired from sewing and was a member of Ambassador Baptist Church. She was dedicated to her family and loved to play bingo.

In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by 7 brothers.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 45 years, Kenneth Laws, three sons, Richard Smith (Teresa) of Lenoir, John Smith (Faye) of Casar, NC, David Smith (Tammy) of Lenoir, one daughter Becky Richards of Lenoir, and one sister Betty Lipps of Lenoir, Five grandchildren and, six great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends at Pendry’s Funeral Home from 10-11am on Friday July 29th. A funeral service will follow in Pendry’s Chapel at 11:00 am and burial at Bolick Cemetery.

Dalton Laws, Justin Laws, Noah Betancourt, Chris Cunningham, Bobby Harrison and Crisp Lipscomb will serve as pallbearers.
