Mrs. Henson was born on July 18, 1946, in Johnson City, TN, to the late Robert Durham and Addie Jane Taylor Durham.
Mrs. Henson was a homemaker, and beloved wife of Harold Henson, of the home. She was a wonderful and loving mother to her son, John Haring, of Lenoir, and daughter Kathy (Dale) Odom of TN.
She also leaves behind to cherish her memory, a brother, Tommy Taylor, and sisters Brenda (Ronald) Coleman, and Carolyn Oaks, all of TN; and a grandson, Jerry (Jennifer) Humphrey, of TN.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. A Funeral Service celebrating the life of Mrs. Henson will follow the visitation and begin at 2:00 PM in the chapel at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Lenoir.
