Raymond Clyde Simmons

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his three brothers Buddy, Junior, and Randy Simmons, and his nephews Joey, Tracy, and Randy Jr. Simmons

Left to cherish Raymond's memory are his wife of 39 years Jo Ann Simmons, his step-son Robert Russell, his special grandson Jarrett Russell, his brother Ed Simmons, his sister Peggy Hinson, his precious dog Tiny, and numerous nephews and nieces.

Raymond was a loving husband, brother, and grandfather. He always kept his hands busy fixing everything. He attended Liberty Baptist Church. Raymond was a generous man who loved people. He will be deeply missed.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Sunday, May 18th, 2025, at Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home.

The funeral service will take place 3:00 PM on Sunday, May 18th, 2025, at Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Dewey Bristol and Rev. Jerry Shew.

A private burial will take place at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Lenoir at a later date.
