Rene Franklin Haigler

He was born in Caldwell County on May 23, 1929 to the late Rufus and Bessie Sherrill Haigler.

Mr. Haigler was a member of Grandview Park Baptist Church in Lenoir, NC and was a retired salesman of mobile homes. He also owned Rene’s Mobile Homes.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Ruth Silver Haigler of the home, three daughters, Karen Hardin and husband, Ben of Boone, NC, Pamela Renee Bullard and husband, Larry of Gainesville, Ga., and Susan Haigler of Flowery Branch, Ga.; three brothers, Don Haigler and wife, Vernell, Dale Haigler and wife, Sabra, and Bryan Haigler, all Lenoir, NC; and two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Haigler will be held Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at 11:00 am at Grandview Park Baptist Church with the Reverend Raymond Spann and the Reverend Sam Snyder officiating. Interment will follow the service at Flemings Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery in Lenoir, NC. The family will receive friends Monday evening at Pendry’s Funeral Home from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ronnie Clark, Mike Bradshaw, Fred Carlyle, Bobby Harmond, Steve Hartley, Ron Gilbert, and honorary pallbearer will be Charlie Bradshaw.
