Robert Warren Wilson

Mr. Wilson was born in Caldwell County to the late Claude Wilson and Jennie Mae Winkler Wilson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Donald, Clifton, Stanley and Howard Wilson. He was a retired painter, a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and he attended Trinity United Methodist Church.

Those left to cherish his memory his cousins, Becky Hendrix of Lenoir, Ken Adkins of Harrisburg, Belar Austin of Lenoir, Rosie Putman of Lenoir, Marvin Lovins of Lenoir, Nolan Lovins of Lenoir, Edith Correll of Lenoir, Gwen Suddreth of Lenoir, Agnes Smith of Lenoir, Sherry Goble of Wilkesboro, Betty Crump of Lenoir, Jennie Wilson of Lenoir, Carol Taylor of Chatsworth, CA, Sandy Winkler for SC, Gary Winkler of Ferguson and Lorraine Minton of Ferguson. Also left to cherish his memory are several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Monday, October 22, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in Pendry’s Chapel with Reverend Jackie Taylor and Reverend Joe Parker officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at the Black Mountain VA Cemetery at a later date.
