Ms. Patterson was a member of Green Hill United Methodist Church where she also served as Chairman of the Church Food Committee.
Ms. Patterson was born in Caldwell County to the late Ross Witherspoon and Doyce Patterson Stowe. Including her parents she was preceded in death by step father, Clifton Stowe Sr.; brothers, Richard Patterson and Clifton “Tweet” Stowe.
Survivors include; daughter’s, Amanda Witherspoon Morrow of Lenoir and Deanna Gainey of Lenoir; the father of her children James E. Witherspoon of Lenoir; a sister, Daisy Stowe of Lawrenceville, GA; grandchildren, Miranda Gainey of Greensboro, Jasmine Clark and Ebony Clark of Lenoir. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and very close friends.
Services will be held at Green Hill United Methodist Church Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 2:00 PM with Reverend Jerry L. Reid Sr. officiating. Burial following at the Church Cemetery. Receiving will be one hour prior to the service.
