Shirley Mae Phillips

Shirley Mae Campbell Phillips, age 86 of Lenoir, went to be with The Lord on Monday, June 27, 2022 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital Born Thursday, January 9, 1936 to the late Fred and Blanche Matheson Campbell in Lenoir, North Carolina.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Phillips is proceeded in death by her husband Paul Phillips, brother Bill Campbell, and two sisters Jeanett Turner and Frances Craig.

She is survived by her daughters Karen Phillips Munday and husband Rick of Grace Chapel, NC and Charie Austin of Baton, NC. Grand Children Crystal Williams, Tamara Dillard (Lonnie), Beverly Rash (Jeff), and Traci Effler. Shirley’s brother Benny Campbell and Sister Juanita Watson will remember their sisters love and kindness. Ms. Phillips lea.ves behind numerous great grandchildren, great – great grandchildren and a number of nephew and nieces.

Shirley will be remembered for being a great cook, her love for crafts and most important her love for Christ. She enjoyed signing in the church choir and let everyone know that she loved The Lord.

The Phillips family will receive friends Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 10:00 am - 10:45 am. at Pendry's Funeral Home.

The Funeral Service for Shirley will follow on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 11:00 am

Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 1545 Orchard Dr, Lenoir, NC.
