Mr. Steve Nelson Junior Hand, age 73, of Granite Falls, North Carolina passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025 while at AMOREM Hospice in Hudson. Mr. Hand was born May 25, 1952 in Catawba County to the late Roscoe and Estelle Hand.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister and his 2 sons, Jason Nelson Hand and Jarrett Lee Hand
Steve was an avid rock, knife and coin collector as well as an outdoorsman.
Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of 40 years, Mary Margaret Elizabeth Holtzman Hand of the home, a daughter, Elizabeth Covington and husband , daughter Carmen Lynn Hand, 2 brother Keith Hand and Doug Hand wife Francis, several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
