She was born on April 4, 1964 in Richmond, Va. to Franklin and Margie Sudds Kirksey.
Survivors include one brother, Franklin “Butch” Kirksey, Jr. of Virginia and the family of Ronie Mae Barnette Pennell.
A funeral service will be held for Ms. Kirksey on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Pendry’s Chapel at 2:00 pm with Reverend Lester Honson, Reverend Jonie Parker and Reverend Michael Church officiating. Burial will follow the service at Blue Ridge Memorial Park in Lenoir, NC. The family will receive friends, Monday, April 25, 2011 from 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm at Pendry’s Funeral Home.
