Timothy Allen King

Mr. King was born May 15, 1960 in Welch, WVA to the late Mary Elizabeth Jordan and Robert King. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Jeffery King.

Survivors include, special friend, Brenda McBride of Lenoir; five daughters, Tekeshia Richardson, Tina McBride, Deloris McBride and Benetta Richardson, all of Lenoir, NC, and Monica Baker of Kimball, WVA; four sons, Sherman McBride, Robert McBride of Lenoir, NC, Anthony Baker and Marcus Baker, both of Kimball, WVA; six sisters, Renee Rena Orzers of GA, Karen Witchers and Deniese King, both of Norfolk, VA, Tomamie Johnson and Lily Campbell, both of Detroit, MI, Penny Vernon of NC; five brothers, James King of Cleveland, Raymond and Charles King, both of Detroit, MI, Sammie King of Norfolk, VA, and Charles Jonson of New York, NY; two stepsisters and one step brother; fifty nieces and nephews; twenty-five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

A funeral service for Mr. King will be held in Pendry’s Chapel Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 2:00 pm with Reverend James Wilfong officiating Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Pendry’s Funeral Home.
