Mrs. Vicki Rose Cauble Honeycutt, 78 of Lenoir passed away on Friday, March 31, 2023 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Honeycutt was born on April 1, 1944 in Gaston County to the late Charles Franklin and Nell Hendricks Cauble.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Marty Cauble, two daughters, Nancy Gilbert, Judy Arnette, two sisters, Linda Neal and Judy Austin.
Vicki was a member of Whitnel First Baptist Church and she loved her Lord with all her heart. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother and loved her family dearly. Vicki loved to go shopping and liked to fish. She retired from Broyhill Furniture after 32 years of faithful service. She will be greatly missed.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Melvin Honeycutt Sr. of the home, a daughter Vangie and husband Ralph Kirby of Lenoir, a son, Melvin Honeycutt Jr. and wife Trina of Hickory, grandchildren, Jeremy Honeycutt, Elisha Woodring Garren and husband Frank, Matthew Triplett, Maci Honeycutt, Alyssa Honeycutt, Victoria Fuller, Ronnie Teague and Cody Francum, great grandchildren, Zachary Fuller, Alexis Miller and Landyn Woodring.
She is also survived by her beloved sister, Nancy “Mackie” Spears and husband Roger of Lenoir.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, April 16, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Whitnel First Baptist Church with Rev. Stuart White, Rev. Steve Hedgecock, and Rev Bud Jernigan officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm.
