Virginia Faw Townsend Haas

She was preceded in death by her father David Station Faw, her mother Mayme Simmons Faw, her brothers Lewis Faw, Arvil Faw, and Thomas Faw, her sister Barbara Boyette, and her husbands Howard Townsend and Nolan Haas.

Left to cherish her memory are her sister Jean Walker, her brother Bud Faw, her children Nina Fanning (husband John) of Newnan GA, Bill Townsend of Lenoir NC, Becky Curtis (husband Steve) of Denver NC, and Nadine Dennis (husband Scott) of Covington GA, Blanche Townsend of Panama City, FL, her grandchildren Pam Harrah, Chrissy Townsend, and Cameran Fanning, and her great-grandchildren Andrew Harrah, Steven Harrah and Zuri Overstreet.

Family will receive friends prior to the service Sunday, May 26th from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm in the chapel at Pendry’s Funeral Home. Service following at 3:00 pm.

Interment will follow at the Townsend Family Cemetery, Lenoir, NC.

Memorials may be made to Conway’s Chapel Baptist Church, 3624 Spencer Lane, Lenoir, NC or Baton Baptist Church, 4491 Hickory Nut Ridge Rd, Hudson, NC 28638.
