Wilbur Eugene Yancey

Mr. Yancey was a long distance truck driver for various companies.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Harley & Brentie Yancey, and Jessie Robbins & Mary (Glad) Robbins Behrman; sisters, Cindy Yancey and Crystal Hallyburton; stepfather, Hubert Holman; nephews, Dustin Dula and Josh Hallyburton; and brother-in-law, Scott Hallyburton.

Those left to cherish his memory include mother, Betty Jean Yancey Holman of Lenoir, NC; father, Benny Clyde Yancey of Morganton, NC; sister, Scarlet Dula and husband Todd of Granite Falls, NC; nieces and nephews, Brian Webb of Morganton, NC, Greyson Dula of Granite Falls, NC, Jessica Lyons of Garner, NC, Melody Lovelace of Drexel, NC, Erica Hallyburton of Morganton, NC, Shonna Dula of Hudson, NC, Tamin Yancey of Hendersonville, NC, and Keesha Hice of Hudson, NC; and extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be on Tuesday, January 31, 2017, 12 pm, at Rock Chapel Church of God with Rev. Ron Leasure officiating. The family will receive family and friends one hour prior to the service.

Entombment will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
