William "Henry" Estes

Mr. Estes was born in Caldwell County to the late Lank Estes and Sallie Griffin Estes. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Lank Estes; daughter, Mary Estes and great grandson, Dalton.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Watson Estes of the home; sons, Richard Estes and wife Diana of Lenoir, James Estes and wife Billie of Lenoir, Wayne Estes and wife Alesa of Hudson, David Estes and wife Kama of Lenoir; daughters, Debra Grethen of Lenoir, Nancy Cardwell and husband Robin of Hudson, Sharon Chester of Lenoir, Valerie Triplett of Lenoir; sisters, Ann Keller and Macy Micheal; also left to cherish his memory is 17 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren and his loving dog Otis.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in Pendry’s Chapel with Reverend Robert England officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 26, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Eugene Grethen, James Estes Jr., Ethan Estes, Joshua Triplett, Brandon Triplett, Scott Triplett, and Dustin Chester.
