Earl D. Patterson

Funeral Services are under the direction of George Price Funeral Home in Levelland, and will be held on Monday, June 27, 2011 at 10:00 am at the Park Drive Baptist Church in Levelland with Reverend Gil Ramirez officiating. There will be a visitation on Sunday, June 26, 2011 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at George Price Funeral Home in Levelland.

Earl was born on October 17, 1911 in Rising Star, Texas, the son of Festus and Laura (Holland) Patterson. He married Minnie “Dink” Williamson on November 5,1932. He was a hard working farmer who enjoyed a good game of dominoes or watching a baseball or basketball game on TV. He liked to hunt and fish when there was time between crops.

Survivors include one son: Bobby Don Patterson and wife, Patricia Anne of Clarksville, TN., and one Daughter: Gaynell Gras and husband, Roger of Lubbock TX., two sisters: Mary Neal Marrow of Brownfield, TX., and Francis Brock and husband Lee of Vancouver WA. One daughter-in-law: Rosetta Lea Patterson of Levelland, TX., nine grand children, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, and thirty-two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Festus and Laura, his wife, Minnie Elizabeth, one son: Winfred Earl Patterson, one grandson: Dusty Taylor and one great-great-granddaughter: Kyleigh Dee Taylor.
