Jan Moses

Memorial services for Jan Moses, 58, of Whiteface will be 3:30 pm, Saturday, July 24, 2010 at First Baptist Church, Whiteface, with Rev. Harold Harrison, Whiteface, officiating. Cremation services are under direction of George Price Funeral Home, Levelland, Texas. He died Monday, July 19, 2010. He was under the care of Legacy of Love Hospice, Littlefield, Texas.

Born on March 14, 1952 in Houston, Texas, he was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He married Sunya Beth (Buttons) Sanders on January 3, 1976 in Whiteface. She died March 30, 2008. Jan moved to Whiteface in 1978 from Tyler, Texas. He worked in the oilfield and had most recently been employed by Musslewhite.

Survivors include his son: Wayland Don Moses and his wife, Holly of Plainview, Texas; his daughter, Sommer Jan Moses of Whiteface, Texas;his mother: Hazel Moses-Hashop of Tampa, Florida; three brothers: Phillip Moses of Richardson, Texas; Don Moses of San Antonio, Texas; and Gary Moses of Ennis, Texas; a sister: Kristi Shaffer of Tampa, Florida; three grandchildren; Kaden Wrayne Moses, Colton Devin Moses and Caitlynn Marie Moses.
