

Jerry Paul (Pancho) Lawson, born to Dick and Mona Lawson on June 10, 1959 in Levelland, Texas, passed away on April 18, 2015. Family visitation will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 PM at George Price Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 2:00 PM in First United Methodist Church in Levelland. Burial will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery. Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Dick Lawson, and sister Kay Lynn Lawson. He was born and raised in Levelland, Texas and was a farmer by trade. He enjoyed raising pigs and loved gardening and fishing. Jerry loved helping people and would do anything for someone in need. He received a Trans-Am for his 16th birthday and has treasured that car his whole life. He graduated from Levelland High School and attended South Plains College majoring in Agri-business. He participated in the Texas Cradle of Giants show at South Plains College and music was always an important part of his life, and continued playing music throughout his life. Jerry is survived by his mother, Mona Lawson of Levelland; son and daughter-in-law, Joshua and K’Wyn Lawson of Levelland; daughter, Jordan Lawson of Levelland; brother and sister-in-law, Alton (Bunk) and Carol Lawson of Levelland; and sister and brother-in-law, Leslie and Richard Lang of Round Rock, Texas; grandchildren, Codee LeCrone, Colton LeCrone and Jazzi’Lynn Lawson; and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations to the church or organization of your choice.
