Joe Roberts

Funeral Services will be held at the First Assembly of God Church on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at 2:00 pm with Reverend Robert Burns officiating. Burial will follow at the City of Levelland Cemetery.

Joe was born on September 16, 1980 in Lubbock, the son of Freddie Joe and Tammy (Pigg) Roberts.

Joe was Valedictorian of his class in 1997. He married Crystal Alford in Levelland on February 11, 2008. He liked listening to music and loved spending time with his family and friends. Joe was a fisherman who liked to bar-b-que. He was family oriented and liked playing with his nieces and nephews and his dog, Shadow.

He is survived by his wife, Crystal, and his step-son, Zachary Tadlock of the home; his grandparents; Billy Joe and Laraina Roberts of Levelland, James and Eva Brockman of Levelland, and Coy and Debbie Pigg of Levelland, his mother and step-father, Tammy and John Shirley of Levelland. Three sisters; Terry Roberts of Levelland, Lashae Roberts of Levelland, and Shasta Roberts of Bowie, Texas. two brothers; Michael Roberts of Levelland, and Jody Roberts of Bowie, Texas; four nieces and 3 nephews. Joe was a soon-to-be father. He was preceded in death by his father and an uncle.
