Kathy Sue Robinson Gilmore

Funeral services for Kathy S. Gilmore, 55, of Lubbock, Texas will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 15, 2011 at South Plains Church, Levelland with Pastor Eddie Trice, officiating. Burial will be in Sundown Cemetery, Sundown, Texas under direction of George Price Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm, on Friday, January 14, 2011. She died Tuesday, January 11, 2011 in Lubbock, Texas.

Kathy was born in Lubbock, Texas to Max and Josie London Robinson. She graduated from Sundown High School in 1973 as Salutatorian of her class. While in high school, she was active in track, cheerleading, basketball, theater and band. She then went on to attend South Plains College, where she played basketball and participated in gymnastics. She attended Odessa College and Texas Tech. Kathy was an active member of South Plains Church until her health limited her activity.

Survivors include two daughters: Cindi Bradshaw and her husband, Rob of Lubbock, Texas and Crystal Gilmore of San Diego, California, a half-sister: Priscilla Rice of Cherokee, Oklahoma; a half-brother: Billy Gray of Conroe, Arkansas; and four grandchildren: Ashli, Carol, Garrett, and Abigail.
