Memorial services for Linda Cox, 54, of Levelland, Texas will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, May 19, 2011 at Ridgecrest Baptist Church, Levelland with Rev. Sylvan Cargile, pastor, officiating. Additional memorial services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 21, 2011, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, Brady, Texas with Pastor Gaylon Morris, officiating. Cremation services are under direction of George Price Funeral Home, Levelland, Texas. She died Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at her home.

Born on July 9, 1956 in Brady, Texas, she was raised in Monahans, Texas and graduated from Monahans High School. She received her LVN certificate from Central Texas Community College. After moving to Levelland in 2009, she began working a Levelland Nursing Home. She married John Cox on November 22, 1989 in Levelland, Texas.

She is survived by her husband, John Cox of Levelland, Texas; two daughters: Amanda Chacon and her husband, Tony of Lubbock, Texas and Callie Cox of San Angelo, Texas; her son: Travis Bratton and his wife, Meagan, also of Lubbock, Texas; a brother: Tom Browning of Olathe, Kansas, three sisters: Teresa Browning of Brady, Texas, Gay Banks of Caldwell, Texas; and Kathryn Tally of Lago Vista, Texas; and five grandchildren, Mia, Troy, Hector, Jordan and Austin.
