Mildred L Saunders Peery

Funeral services for Mildred L. Peery, 89, of Levelland, Texas will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, December 23, 2010 in George Price Funeral Chapel, Levelland with Rev. Chris Downer, officiating. Burial will be in City of Levelland Cemetery under direction of George Price Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. She died Tuesday, December 21, 2010 in Levelland, Texas. She was under the care of Interim Hospice.

Mildred was born on November 11, 1921 in Farmers Valley, Texas to Clarence Steve and Maude Jones Saunders. She was raised in the Pettit Community. Mildred was retired from the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, California. Survivors include her daughter: Sandra Jean Faerber and her husband, Bret of Levelland, her son: Charles S. Peery and his wife, Shelly of Pep, Texas; her grandchildren: Charles and Becky Wright, Renee Albus, Lisa and Mark Albus, Steven and Reneta Peery , Shawna Quevedo and Cory Archuleta and eleven great grandchildren. She is also survived by her nephews: Jerry Saunders and his wife, Carolyn of Sanger, Texas and Steve Saunders and his wife Nanci of Midland, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Millard Steve Saunders and a grandson, Little Richard Burke, and her companion, Vincent Viscosi.
