Tisha Lyn Poindexter Eade

Monday, April 11, 2016, our mom, grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend went to meet her Lord and Savior. Tisha Lyn Poindexter Eade, age 66, was born in Lubbock, Texas on May 25, 1949 to Hobart "Chick" and Bessie YEureka Poindexter. Tisha married Ronald C. Eade on July 18, 1965. Ronnie preceded her in death on November 5, 2012. Ronnie and Tisha have three children, Ronda, Sonja, and Jeff Eade, all of Lubbock. Tisha was also the very proud grandmother of six grandchildren, who love her deeply. Tisha also has 10 nieces and nephews, many great-nieces and great-nephews, and a wealth of friends. Along with her husband, Tisha was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Linda Phipps, and her husband Pat Phipps; and her sister-in-law, Gloria Kelly and her husband Bob Kelly. A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, April 15, 2016, at Green Lawn Church of Christ at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Green Lawn Church of Christ, Hospice of Lubbock, or Meals on Wheels. The family wants to thank Eulanda Renee Wells for her continued and daily support of our Mom.
