"A Grandmother's Love"  ~ As children, we can't comprehend or fully realize the meaning of a grandmother's love. How wise she is, how much patience she has, or how much guidance she gives us by her example and by her helpful caring ways. Years go by before we know and understand the depth of her concern and the love in her protectiveness. But as we mature we do finally understand and we can look back and see through older eyes and wiser hearts her unconditional love, devotion, and family loyalty. It's these and many other things that make us realize how lucky we have been and how lucky we are to have this amazing woman - our grandmother - as the centered root of strength and love in our life.

Our friendship began the first time I met you when Ronnie and I were dating. Over the years you taught us the values and Love which keeps a Family strong.  I watched you rock each new grandchild a million rocks showing them how much you Loved them. You even Loved our four legged furry children even rocking them while you crocheted and made hangers.  We watched you quilt with loving stitches quilts for all of us.  Each one we treasure and use today.  We learned that good food and laughter holds families together and makes us strong.  And so many puzzles to put together with Ralph's help, of course.   I cherish those moments and so many more.  I Love you and Thank you for your Christian example and Love you gave to all of us.

IN THE LOSS OF YOUR MOM...If someone had asked what the best part of her life was, I think she would have said it was being your mom. May all that she was and all that she meant to you live on in your life and in your heart.

BOBBIE DULIN CRAVENS

Today the Lord came for a visit
And took our sweet Bobbie home,
Where she will be happy & healthy
With family she will not be alone.

She was a woman of many talents
Sewing quilts for hours on end,
Every stitch was sewn with love
To her family she would send.

Her best time was the Holidays
She loved to play games and cook,
Until me & her had a chess match
With four moves her King I took.

Another love were jigsaw puzzles
Of which she was the very best,
Finishing those that I gave up on
Reminding me & not letting it rest.

Mostly she was just a great person
A loving mother, friend and wife,
We will all miss her greatly
As we celebrate her short life.

God needed another angel in heaven and that's why she had to go. I know she is watching her family here below and laughing and telling stories with Dad and those that have gone before.  She was always  there through the thick and the thin, no matter what I've done and with unconditionally love and understanding.  I held her hand and silently whispered  goodbye and how much I loved and would miss her.  I watched those around me shed their tears and whisper their goodbyes with  the silence of the breathing machine now so loud.  She loved and took care of all us from the very start, with a warm, kind and loving heart.  Even though she is not here with us, she is in our hearts and in our memories.  Your son - Ronnie
