Viola Angela Miller

On February 4, 2014 our beloved Viola Miller passed away peacefully. A Rosary was held on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at 7:00pm at George Price Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be Friday February 7, 2014 at St. Michaels Catholic Church at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in St. Phillip Neri Cemetery in Pep,Texas

Viola was born on February 7, 1927 in Pep, Texas to the late Mathias and Emelia (Glumpler) Demel. She was raised in Pep and graduated from Pep Schools. She moved to Levelland in June of 1969. She attended Texas Tech. Her faith was important to her. She was a member of St. Michael’s Church. Prior to moving to Levelland she attended St Phillip Neri. She was always active with St. Michaels Sausage Festival.

She leaves to cherish her memories sons, Dan Miller and wife Janis of Ft. Collins, Colorado, Kenneth Miller of Midland, Texas daughters Shirley Vaughan of Levelland, Loretta Bryant of Levelland, Cindy Carey and John of Lubbock; sister, Margaret Ruzicka of Lubbock; ten grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Chuck Blodgett, John Carey, Michael Vaughan, Chris Vaughan, Chris Vaughan, Dylan Carey, Pat Miller, and Marty Miller.
