Allan R. Legates Sr.

Born in Bristol, son of the late Elaine Meryl (Beegle) and John Emery Legates, Allan has been a life time resident of Lower Bucks County and was a 1974 graduate of the former Delhaas High School.

He spent most of his working career as an automobile mechanic, mostly for Sears in Fallsington and Quakerbridge, NJ. He later went on to work for National Tire and Battery "NTB" for several years.

Allan is survived by his sons, Stan Getz (Sue), Allan R. Legates Jr. (Anne Marie) and Clay J. Legates (Rebecca Jo Nocito).

He will also be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Cole, James, Mason and Susie; and his siblings, Ronnie Legates (Sandy), Elaine Labor (Walt), Kenny Legates and Barbie Eill (John).

Allan is predeceased by his parents and his brothers, John (Maria) and Danny Legates.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, May 7, 2021 from 1:00 until 2:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm. Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Allan's name may be made to the American Lung Association, 527 Plymouth Road, Suite 415, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462-1641.
