

Anthony "Tony" Joseph Gleisner passed away suddenly on December 24, 2025, at the age of 58, in his home surrounded by family. Born to Darlene Leidy in Philadelphia, PA, Tony was a longtime resident of Bensalem, Pennsylvania. He was deeply loved by all who knew him, known for his generous and hardworking spirit, and a sense of humor with those he loved. Whether he was working hard or helping someone out, Tony made life better just by being in it.
Tony was a 1986 graduate of Archbishop Ryan High School. He dedicated his career to working as a high-voltage electrician for Amtrak, where he earned the respect, admiration, and friendship of his colleagues through his strong work ethic and genuine character.
Above all else, Tony was a devoted family man. Tony was a cherished best friend to his wife, Jeanie Lingo and a loving, dedicated father to his daughters, Kayla Gleisner, Krista Martin, and Macy Gleisner. He is also survived by his brother, John Boran; his two beloved pet cats, Simon and Socks; and his loyal dog, Copper.
Tony found joy in both life’s simple pleasures and its adventures. He had a passion for cars, loved cooking, and most of all cherished the time spent creating joyful memories with his daughters. His legacy is one of integrity, generosity, and unwavering loyalty—anchored by his deep and abiding love for Jeanie and his children.
Tony’s life was defined by his genuineness, infectious laughter, treasured traditions, and steadfast support for those he loved. His friendships and influence extend far beyond the physical, and the humor and joy he shared will continue to echo in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
A visitation for Tony will be held Friday, January 2, 2026, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm with a funeral service immediately following at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Rd, Levittown, PA.
