Barbara M. McCormick

Barbara M. McCormick of Levittown died on Thursday, January 3rd at the young age of 45. Born in Elkins Park, Barbara was a lifelong resident of Levittown and a 1985 graduate of Bishop Conwell High School. For 23 years, Barbara worked for GMAC. She enjoyed going to the beach and was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan. Mostly, she loved spending her time taking care of her family. Her beautiful smile and tender spirit touched everyone around her. Barbara was the beloved wife of James R. McCormick for 26 years and the loving mother of Joshua J. and Taylor M. She was the devoted daughter of Alfred and Barbara (Beck) Fuscellaro and the caring sister of Chris Richards (Matt), Kim Brennan (Patrick), Susan Mattern (Steve), Holli Kascsak (George), and sister-in-law Kelly Hughes (John). She will also be sadly missed by her mother-in-law Bette McCormick, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday from 2 until 4 p.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. They may also call on Monday from 10 until 11 a.m. at Christ United Methodist Church, 501 Wistar Rd., Fairless Hills where her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Interment is private.
