

Born in Philadelphia, daughter of the late Mary P. (Brambley) and Frederick G. Kohler, Barbara grew up in Hulmeville and was a 1972 graduate of Neshaminy High School. A graduate of Lankenau Nursing School, Barbara went on to achieve her BSN at Holy Family College.
She worked as an ICU/CCU nurse at Einstein Medical Center and Saint Mary Medical Center. In 1987, Barbara started her own business, Southeastern Home Health Services, where she continued to work most recently as head of Quality and Compliance.
Barbara loved to socialize and have fun. She was a lover, listener and supporter of WXPN radio and loved to travel around the country and abroad.
Barbara was a proud season ticket holder of the Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies and Wings, as well as a bourbon and scotch enthusiast.
She was looking forward to retirement so she could spend more time with her grandchildren, Harrison and Nyla Parr and Salvatore Swenson.
Beloved wife of 44 years to Steven J. Santucci, Barbara is the loving mother of Susan Santucci-Parr (Andrew Parr) and Stephanie Santucci (Patrick Swenson).
She is the sister of Robert, Frederick and Richard Kohler, Mary Harris, Dorothy Bilger and the late John Kohler.
Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, March 24, 2019 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her service will be held at 11:00 am, at which time guests are invited to share memories and stories. Interment will be held privately.
