Beverly H. ReeseBeverly H. Reese died on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Buckingham Valley Nursing Home in Newtown. She was 88.Born and raised in Wilkes Barre, Mrs. Reese was a longtime resident of Lower Bucks County. She was a former administrative assistant for the Bucks County Courts.Mother of the late Kathy A. Brennan (Davenport) and the late Robin Davenport. Mrs. Reese was also predeceased by her husbands, Robert Davenport, Robert Reese and brother George Hirthler.She is survived by her granddaughter, Kelly Durante (Carl) and her great granddaugter, the love of her life, Lillian Moon.She will also be sadly missed by her son-in-law and caregiver, James S. Brennan and step children, Linda Reese (Ralph), David Reese (Valerie), Sherri Taylor (Craig) and Robbie Reese (Pam) and their children and families; her sister, Florence (Hirthler) O'Day (Joe); brother, Harold "Hap" Hirthler (Mary); many nieces and nephews, including Gary Hirthler and Betsy Russell (Allen) who were also her caregivers; her best friend and "partner in crime", Rita Goldman; and all of her extended family at McIntosh Regency Apartments, as well as her many friends at the Christ United Methodist Church. Thanks to her nurse Betsy Schmidt who took special interest in her care and was of great comfort to her.Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, from 8:30 until 10:00 at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her funeral service will be held at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made to The National Wildlife Federation (www.nwf.org.) in her memory.
