Carol Ann Baxter (nee Weber), age 68, passed away on September 1, 2025 at the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center from complications of COPD. Her family was by her side. She was a resident of Crofton, Maryland, previously of Levittown, Pennsylvania.
Carol was born in Pennsylvania, to parents, Joseph and Yukie Weber. She graduated from High School in 1975. Carol went on to establish many careers as a Manager, Realtor, and a Sales Consultant, working for Yukie’s Bar, Chi Chi’s, Dan C Inc., Century 21, REMAX, Seamans Furniture, and Gardiners Furniture.
Over the years, Carol had many interests including fitness, favorite TV shows, games, good food and having a good time. She had an artistic side that she didn’t always have time to pursue. She made beautiful macrame gifts, floral arrangements, and was a talented sewist. She made many clothes for herself and some award-winning Halloween costumes for her daughter.
Carol was a smart woman and hard worker. She loved working with and meeting new people. She often said she could talk to anybody. Carol was devoted to family and loved them fiercely. She would fight for them and sacrifice for them with her whole heart. Babies and animals loved her. She selflessly cared for her ailing father while working and trying to raise a teenager. Did she complain? Absolutely. But in this and all things, she tackled every hardship life threw at her.
Her later years were troubled by illness. She had several chronic conditions that affected her quality of life. Despite this, she had a strong will to live and strove to be an active participant in life. Carol was big and loud, funny and smart, fierce and dedicated, and we love her. She will be missed dearly.
Carol was preceded in death by father Joseph W. Weber, Sr, mother Yukie Weber, and many pets who she loved like family.
Carol is survived by daughter Jennifer Roshek, grandchild Morgan Roshek, brother Joseph Weber, Jr, sister-in-law Cindy Weber, niece Victoria Weber and nephew Lenny Weber.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Carol’s life at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Rd, Levittown, PA 19056 on Saturday, January 17, 2026 from 11am-12pm followed by a Memorial Service at 12pm.
In Lieu of Flowers, donations in Carol’s name may be made to the 15/10 Foundation; they sponsor shelter animals and cover their medical expenses. Carol loved her dogs and all animals and would love for you to donate. https://15outof10.org/donor-options/
