Born in Kingston PA, she was raised in Philadelphia, daughter of the late Anne (George) Rapson and Williard Rapson. Carol attended Little Flower High School.
She retired as a self-employed medical transcriptionist after having worked for many years for Seafood Shanty Restaurants.
Carol has been a resident of Levittown and an active and devoted parishioner of Saint Michael the Archangel Parish since 1967. Over the years she has served the parish in many ways, including as a lector and Eucharistic minister. What she loved most was serving the sick and home bound as well as grieving families through the bereavement ministry.
Known lovingly as “the mayor,” she had a great impact on many people throughout the years and was beloved for her kind and generous heart as well as for a smile that could light up any room. She was happiest when she was dancing or playing cards with friends or enjoying good luck at the casino.
Carol was the beloved wife for 62 years to Christopher P. Seger Sr and the loving mother of Christopher Seger Jr (Lise), Mark Seger (Alicia), Michael Seger, Thomas Seger (Karen), and Carol Anne (Seger) Patterson.
She is also predeceased by one beloved grandson and one brother, George Rapson, and is survived by 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren whom she adored. She will also be sadly missed by her brother Thomas Rapson (Paige) and a large extended family of cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 8:30 am until 9:50 am at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, located at 66 Levittown Pkwy, Levittown, PA 19054, United States. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am.
The committal service will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, located at 5201 Hulmeville Rd, Pennsylvania, PA 19020, United States.
