Charles R. "Bucky" Davenport of Philadelphia died on Friday, May 10, 2013. He was 63. Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Davenport was a long time resident of Langhorne before moving to Philadelphia. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for many years. He enjoyed fishing and wood working. Preceded in death by his son Jason C. Davenport, Mr. Davenport is survived by his wife Margaret R. (O'Donnell) Davenport; sons Charles R., II of Lower Bucks County and Dan S. of Collegeville; sister Barbara Dallabrida and her husband, Renny; stepmother Alberta Davenport; stepsister Marianne Schaub and her husband ,Ron; granddaughter Kyra Rajkowski; aunt,Helen Waldron and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends may call Wednesday from 10 until 11 a.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where his funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
