Charles S. Waddle

Charles S. Waddle passed away suddenly in his home at the age of 63.Born in Latrobe, PA, son of the late Ruby A. (Keller) and Richard E. Waddle, Charlie has been a long time resident of Lower Bucks County.He was employed with the Pennsbury School District for 30 years.While a student at Bucks County Community College, Charlie met and fell in love with his wife, Nancy.A great outdoors man, Charlie enjoyed fishing, grilling and tending to the vegetables in his garden. He loved hanging by the pool, tying flies, and visiting Key West. He will affectionately be remembered as someone who was always looking to have a good time. Charlie was a great "Mr. Fix It" who could fix and build anything.He was a huge Phillies and Sixers fan. He enjoyed music, especially jazz, rhythm and blues, and classic rock.Beloved husband of 40 years to Nancy (Crawford), Charlie is the loving father of Kristine Day (Roland) and Katie Waddle; dear brother of Randy Waddle (Donna) and Patricia Sapina (Dave); nephew of Blair and Katherine Grater and Jane Hull; and cousin to Alan and Debbie. He will also be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, brothers- and sisters-in-law, friends, and coworkers. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, December 5, 2020, from 4:00 until 5:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral service will be held at 5:00 pm. Interment will be held privately.
