Christine Barone-Hammaker

Born in Philadelphia, the daughter of the late Marie (Tierno) and Michael Barone, Christine was a graduate of Saint Maria Goretti High School. She has been a resident of Bensalem for over 40 years.

Christine was fondly known to her family and close friends as Tinann, which was a combination of her first and middle names, Christine Ann. This nickname was given to her by her younger brother and ultimately became the name of one of her father's businesses. But her favorite name of all time was "Mimi", the nickname given to her by her grandson, Jake. Anyone who ever met her knew, that according to her, he was the reason the sun shined. They were attached at the hip and certainly partners in crime. You could always find her at one of games cheering him on.

She spent most of her career working in Retail Management for Jefferson Ward, Drug Emporium and Toys R Us. She finished her career as a school aid at Belmont Hills Elementary School in Bensalem where she was well loved by the staff and students.

Christine was a respected boss, a "Mom" to many, a friend to all, was always willing to lend a listening ear and give her honest advice. She would do anything for anyone and will be remembered fondly for her firecracker personality.

Christine is survived by the love of her life and best friend, Joseph Arrison; her daughter, Lisa Marie Kutchner (Joey); grandson, Jacob "Jake" Kutchner; and sisters, Mary DiStanisloa (Ozzie) and Debbie Bucci (Angelo).

She will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Christine was predeceased by her parents, and her brothers, Michael Barone Jr. and Anthony Barone.

Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, from 10:00 until 11:00 am at Saint Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, where her funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am. The Rite of Committal will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
