David was born and raised in Levittown, PA.
David is predeceased by his parents Leonard and Helen Alliprandini, his daughter Heather and sister Dianna. Left behind to mourn is wife Linda, brother Len and wife Beth, sister Elaine Fariss and husband Bill. Stepchildren, Thomas Bradley Sr. and wife Demary, Ryan Bradley and Amanda Bradley Green and husband Don Green. The grand kids who lit up his face every time, Tommy Jr, Shawn Sr. Korin, Kira, Rocco, Gianna and Shawn Jr. Bradley. and many wonderful nieces and nephews all whom he loved dearly.
Dave's devotion to family was everything, he would share an opinion but supported their decisions with a strength unmatched. His motto was a "a man is only as good as his word", and his word was platinum. His intelligence, character and drive as well as his physical strength would touch people everywhere. He was amazing at solving problems and never gave up. He proudly served his country in the United States Army as a medic and nurse with the 82nd Airborne and with the USA MEDDAC USMA West Point, NY. Among his medals were the Parachutist Badge and Sharpshooter Badge with Rifle Bar. He served his community for over twenty years as a volunteer firefighter and is a life member of the Levittown 2 Fire company, eventually serving as Chief. He served humanity with his compassion as a nurse, with Mercer Medical Center Emergency Room, Pennwood Village assisted living and with his boss and close friend Dr Arthur Pacia at Greater Mercer Pulmonary, making sure his patients received exceptional care.
His favorite place was the cabin, a place he built with his hands and of course tools. He grew sustainable trees to maintain a natural environment for all wildlife. He spent the days at the cabin with his devoted brother Lenny where they worked, walked and hunted. David was an expert marksman, using rifle, shotgun, black power and a bow. He hunted for what he would use, never wasted. He loved the serenity of the woods. His second favorite place was home with the recliner and TV remote. He was literally prepared for any emergency, to support family, friends and neighbors. He read across the spectrum and was well versed in history and politics. He knew every aisle at the Home Depot and used his massive collection of tools to build and create many things for our home or to help others. His greatest devotion was to family, he was prepped in a moment notice and he would protect to the end. He was intelligent, funny, stubborn, determined, strong, soft, warm, cuddly and the world's best kisser. You knew you were safe and loved. It is impossible to put his life in a few lines, or to express the heartbreak of our loss. People say one is at rest, but if there are projects to do in Heaven, Dave is busy organizing and building.
Heaven is not getting a saint, by any means, but an angel, a fierce defender of faith, family, of good versus evil, of right versus wrong. He believed all are human beings created by God.
Our family is grateful for the amazing support Dave received throughout his battle, our friends, especially the (old Mercer ER group), neighbors, co-workers, the nurses and medical professionals at Capital Health Systems-Hopewell and the prayers that were sent.
