David Charles Kelly

David Charles Kelly, age 69, passed away on December 27, 2024. He was a long time resident of Levittown, PA and Brigantine, NJ.

Dave was born in Bristol, PA, to parents, Sydney and Viola Martha Kelly. He graduated from Neshaminy High School in 1973. Dav, as his co-workers jokingly call him, went on to establish a career in administration, working for Conrail Railroad for over 46 years.

Music was a huge part of Dave’s life. He was a wonderful pianist and enjoyed listening to and playing music. He was a member of the Harriman United Methodist Church where he would sing in the choir. In addition to music, Dave loved gardening and walking on the beach. He also watched old movies for hours on end.

Dave’s legacy will be his goodness and generosity. He was faithful to his partner of 26 years, and helpful to his family and friends. Dave was the most self-less man you’d meet and his memory will continue on in the hearts of all the lives he touched.

Dave was preceded in death by his father, Sydney Charles Kelly.

Dave is survived by his life partner John S. Pandolfino; his mother Viola Martha Kelly (nee Baggerly); his sister and brother-in-law Mary Jo and Charles Jay Cwenar; his niece Kathryn Michele Herting (Keith); his great-nephew Wesley Herting; his great-niece Bernadette Herting; and other family and many friends.

A public viewing for David will be held Monday, January 6, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, Pennsylvania 19056. A short viewing will take place on Tuesday, January 7 from 9:30am-10:00am at Harriman United Methodist Church, 1700 Wilson Avenue, Bristol, PA 19007, and his funeral service will follow at 10:00am. Dave will be laid to rest following the service at Rosedale Memorial Park, 3850 Richlieu Road, Bensalem, PA 19020.

Memorial Contributions in David’s name may be made to Harriman United Methodist Church.
