

Dolores T. Phillips Dolores T. Phillips died suddenly on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 while vacationing in Saint Maarten, Netherlands Antilles. She was 81. Born and raised in Nanticoke, PA, the daughter of the late Lillian and Adam Dombrowksi, Mrs. Phillips moved to Lower Bucks County in the early 1950's. She purchased a home in Levittown 48 years ago. A very devout Catholic, she was a faithful member of Saint Joseph the Worker Parish, Fallsington. Mrs. Phillips was a former employee of the USX Fairless Works in the sheet-tin division. She was also a crossing guard in Falls Township at Village Park Elementary School for over 20 years. She enjoyed spending time with family and her greatest joy was the love of children, especially her great niece, Madelyn. Beloved wife of the late James H. Phillips, mother of the late David C. and Robert P. Phillips and sister of the late Helen Wodyka, she is survived by her loving son, James R. Phillips (Pamela) of Vancouver, WA and her precious granddaughter, Rebecca Jean Phillips of VAncouver. She will also be sadly missed by her sister Carol Sickles of Levittown; her brother, Edward Dombrowski of Yardville and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, from 7:00 until 9:00 pm and Thursday, from 8:15 until 9:15 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, at 10:00 am at Saint Joseph the Worker Chruch, Fallsington followed by Rite of Committal in Resurrection Cemetery. The family has requested that memorial contributions in her name be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
