She was 93.Beloved wife of the late Wayne, Mrs. Wharton is the loving mother of Dolores M. "Lori" Meehan (Joseph), Wayne J. (Eileen), Joan, Betty Ann Daley (Matthew) and Steven.She is the devoted grandmother of Kelly, Tricia, Shaun and Matthew III; and proud great grandmother of Josh, Reagan, Ellie and Joseph.Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, October 12, 2017, from 9:30 to 10:30 am at Saint Matthew R.C. Church, 3000 Cottman Ave., Philadelphia, where her funeral mass will be held at 10:30 am. Interment will be held privately.Memorial contributions to the Benevolent Fund at the Philadelphia Protestant Home, 6500 Tabor Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111, would be appreciated by the family.
