

Born in Queens, New York, Mr. Amrhein was raised on Long Island, NY and has been a resident of Lower Bucks County since 1969. He was a member of Queen of the Universe parish.
A proud U.S. Army veteran, Donald was a life member of the VFW Post 6615 in White Haven, PA.
Mr. Amrhein was an accountant at Con Edison in New York City for 20 years until retiring in 1992.
He was an avid gardener, reader and history buff.
Beloved husband of the late Eleanor (Harritz), he was the loving father of Donald S. Amrhein, Michael F. Amrhein (Linda), Thomas C. Amrhein, Janet Warren, Jean Eggert (Allen), Jennifer Abato (Marco) and the late Susan Furey (Thomas).
He will also be missed by 19 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; brother, Richard Amrhein (Carol) and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Family and friends are invited to call from 10 until 11 a.m. on December, 10, 2020 at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. The Rite of Committal will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
