Doris L. Krysa

Doris L. Krysa passed away at her home on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at the age of 86.Mrs. Krysa was born in East Orange, NJ to the late Louis and Loretta (Sands) Storms. She is formerly of Bristol, Pa and has been a resident of Lower Bucks County for most of her life. Doris was also a longtime member of Queen of the Universe Parish. Before her retirement, Doris spent 30 years working as a secretary for the Director of the Fish and Game Commission for the State of New Jersey.In her spare time, Mrs. Krysa enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting, playing on the computer and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also a member of the S.J.W. Seniors. Beloved wife of Theodore W. Krysa for 47 years, Mrs. Krysa was the loving mother of Kathleen Rizzo (Tony) of Levittown, Stephen E. Riebel (Cynthia) of Levittown and Ted Krysa (Linda Temple) of Robbinsville, NJ. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, her sisters Patricia Myers (Jim) of Coatesville, Barbara Douglas (Doug) of Michigan and Donna LaPolla (Frank) of Levittown, a sister-in-law Doris Coyne of Washington Crossing, Pa and many nieces and nephews. Doris was predeceased by a daughter Pamela Riebel Gaskill.Family and friends are invited to call on Monday from 10:00 am until 11:30 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc. where her funeral service will be held at 11:30 am. Interment will be held privately. Memorial contributions in Mrs. Krysa's name may be made to Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, Pa 19056.
