Born in Bristol, son of the Lester Katz and the late Judith (Steij) Katz, Douglas has been a life long resident of Lower Bucks County. He was a 1991 graduate of Pennsbury High School.
For the past 15 years, Douglas has been employed with Kasdon's in Levittown and had previously been with Car-Tex for 4 1/2 years.
He was a Steelers fan and also enjoyed the Phillies and Flyers.
Douglas was great for making people laugh. He was loyal to his family and friends.
Along with his father, Douglas is survived by his twin brother, Jon and his brother James Stewart; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services and interment will be held privately.
