Raised in Levittown, Ed graduated from Neshaminy High School, Penn State University, and was valedictorian from the Pennsylvania College of Straight Chiropractic. Ed served the community for 30 years as the owner of Hartman Family Chiropractic Center.
Ed was a big fan of the Philadelphia Flyers, The Beatles, James Taylor, and Walt Disney World.
Ed is survived by his girlfriend, Carolyn, her son, Luke, his children Edward Hartman III (Robin), Amanda Stemme (Jim), siblings Michael Hartman, Joanne Olender (Tom), and Trish Zive (Carl). He was also a grandfather to Ryan, Maggie, Hailey, Jimmy, and Abbey. Ed is survived by several wonderful nieces and nephews.
With the one-year anniversary upon us, relatives and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. We kindly ask that you wear a mask and limit your time in the funeral home to allow others to pay their respects.
