Born in Philadelphia, Ed was a long time resident of Lower Bucks County and was a graduate of the former Bishop Egan High School. He achieved his Bachelor Degree from LaSalle University.
Ed was a devoted parishioner of Saint Andrew Parish in Newtown.
He spent over 40 years working for Acme Markets in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He retired as an Assistant Manager from the Newtown location, after spending many years there.
He was an avid Philly sports fan and car enthusiast.
Ed was a private, plain, simple guy. He enjoyed country music and loved walking his dog.
Son of the late Rose T. (Longello) and Edward A. Gregitis, Ed is survived by his brother Frank Gregitis (Rachel); niece Samantha Crawford (Matthew); and nephew, Colin Gregitis (Amanda McDonald).
He will also be sadly missed by his loving canine companion, Popper and a host of friends.
Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, May 2, 2022 from 10:30 until 11:30 am at Saint Andrew Church, 81 Swamp Road, Newtown, where his funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:30 am. The Rite of Committal will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.
