Eleanor E. Hastings

Eleanor E. Hastings, of Levittown died peacefully on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown surrounded by her loving family. She was 81. She was born in Philadelphia and was a 1946 graduate of Frankford High School. Mrs. Hastings was a resident of Levittown for 54 years and had been residing at Crestview Nursing Center in Langhorne since November 5, 2009. She was a very creative and artistic person who loved to draw, decorate and garden. Mrs. Hastings was the beloved and devoted wife of Paul D. Hastings for 58 years. She was the loving mother of Cheryl Leask-Flanagan and her husband Eugene P. Flanagan Jr. of Langhorne and Lisa Hastings and her husband Richard P. Tyson of Boston, MA. She was the cherished grandmother of Shawn Michelle Leask. Family and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Monday, 11:00 a.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where the family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be private.
