Emily I. Gibson

Born in Hazleton, PA, daughter of the late Irene (Gicking) and Walter Oswald,

Emily has been a long time resident of Lower Bucks County and was an original Levittown homeowner.

She was a long time member of Emmaus Road Lutheran Church, where she was very active in various ministries. Her greatest love was her involvement in the prayer ministries

Emily and her husband Al had a great love of travel. They also had a special place in their hearts or Ocean City New Jersey.

Emily showed so much strength and love for her family, especially when she made the decision to donate her kidney to her daughter Donna.

Beloved wife of 50 years to the late Alfred, Emily is the loving mother of Karen Tamulavage (late Mike), Susan Kuchefski (Bill) and the late Donna Sedam (Dave).

She is the devoted grandmother of Bill, Aimee, David, Jennifer, Laura, Sarah, Sam, Diane and Deb; and proud great grandmother of 18.

Emily was predeceased by her parents, husband, daughter and brother, Robert Oswald.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, October 23, 2021, from 10:00 until 11:00 am at Emmaus Road Lutheran Church, 2185 Bristol Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19057, where her funeral service will be held at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Emilie United Methodist Church Cemetery, Levittown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Emily's name may be made to the Gift of Life Donor Program, 401 North 3rd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123 or to Emmaus Road Lutheran Church, at the above address.
