Filbert W. Lubold

Filbert W. Lubold Filbert "Skip" W. Lubold passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Saint Mary Medical Center, Langhorne. He was 85. Born in Hegins, PA, Mr. Lubold has been a resident of Bensalem for 52 years. He spent 35 years working the docks along the Delaware River as an employee for Texaco. Mr. Lubold was a US Navy veteran, from 1944 - 1952, and was proud to have served aboard the USS Monterey aircraft carrier as part of his tour. Beloved husband of 61 years to Claire T. (Glass), Mr. Lubold was the loving father of Carol Zeller (William), of Springhill, FL, Donna Richards (Thomas) of Hobesound, FL and Michael (Carrie) of Levittown. He will also be sadly missed by 6 grandchildren, Sean, Dawn, Patty, Michael Jr., Theresa and Jaclyn, 10 great grandchild and his sister, Charmaine Barnes (Charles). He was preceded in death by a daughter, Theresa Lubold and a grandson, Brian Zeller. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, from 9:00 until 11:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral service will be held at 11:00 am. Interment will be held privately. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to the Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
